Permanent interactive light installation at the University of Surrey Campus, commissioned by Miles, University of Surrey.
The Light Bridge is an interactive and playable bridge that links two buildings on the campus ofthe University of Surrey. Itis a visual beacon, lighting up the campus as people play and interact. Visitors, students and staff can tweet the bridge and make it wiggle or send a light wave across it, connecting the two buildings at either end.
These are commands that anybody can use to animate the bridge. Next time you cross the bridge at the University of Surrey give it a try!
STEP 1: Tweet using the #lightbridge hashtag along with any of the following to animate the bridge:
#wiggle – A random animated wiggle sequence!
#wave – Light wave across the bridge!
#score – Stack to see the scores and see who is in the lead!
STEP 2: Look up at the flashy lights! It’s that easy.
Programmed by engineer Louis Christodoulou.

I love the bridge artworks. In fact I think your work is magic. Very uplifting.
