The Art of Illumination – talk by the celebrated Danish installation artist Tine Bech

Tine is giving a talk at Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation at Blacks in Soho 67 Dean St, Soho, London W1D 4QH Tuesday 23 Oct from 6.30pm. Talk starts at promptly 7.00pm, and should last about an hour.

Modern technology has greatly expanded the possibilities for contemporary artists, and in particular their ability to work with light. Tine Bech, the celebrated international artist, will talk about talk about some of the major art installations she has delivered in the public realm, and in particular about the art of illumination, using temporary installation lighting to create important and dramatic contemporary artworks. In its explorations of technology and of modernity these works very much reflect the dynamic cross-arts approach being championed by the Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation.
