Plus, engage with expert guests as we examine the phenomenal rise of light events across the UK, and the cultural and economic impact of light festivals on our towns and cities.

Light art has become a phenomenon in its own right. Artists exhibiting at BD:IS LIT will discuss evolving definitions of the art form, the wide range of works shown at festivals—from handmade installations to digital projections—and share insights into their personal artistic practices.
