Colour Connection, a vibrant new sculpture by Danish artist Tine Bech, kicks off the Springtime Sculpture Trail at the University of Warwick. Known for her expert use of colour, Bech has created a ‘deconstructed rainbow’ to celebrate human connection and the importance of public space.
This large-scale artwork, made of transparent coloured glass panels and two-way mirrors, blends materials to create a dynamic social space for well-being and play. Inspired by the need for communal meeting points during the COVID pandemic, it stands as a testament to the importance of shared outdoor spaces.
Now located at the University of Warwick’s Sculpture Park, Colour Connection joins over 25 other artworks, offering a vibrant and engaging experience for all visitors
Bech’s installation can now be experienced at the University of Warwick’s Art Collection, Coventry, CV4 7AL where it is joined by more than 25 other artworks.
