The Culture of Rowing and Swimming Artist Talk

The Culture of Rowing and Swimming is a series of events organised by Oxford Brookes University and funded by Creative Campus Initiative, as part of the celebrations leading up to the 2012 Olympics. The project takes place in Oxford in July and aims to start new dialogues across rowing, swimming and art.

Speakers include Kate Rew, author of Wild Swim/Outdoor Swimming Society; Joel Cahen, curator of Wet Sounds; Tine Bech, artist; Tiffany Black, artist; Gediminas & Nomeda Urbonas, artists; Dervis Konulralp, Paralympic swimming champion; and Hans Maarten van den Brink, rowing novelist.
