Join us to see The World Has Gone Pear Shape, a playful take on the dystopias of our time that asks: Where are we now? What have we done to the earth? And what possible futures do we want to create?
By utilising NASA open-source 3D high-resolution images of Earth, the sculpture seamlessly integrates scientific accuracy with artistic expression. The detailed depiction of the planet, despite its altered form, reinforces the message about humankind’s impact on Earth. It serves as a powerful visual metaphor for the consequences of ecological negligence.
