Co-created with children, the installation blends light, sound and participation to explore how we imagine the future. Visitors are invited to pause, listen and contribute their own thoughts, allowing the clouds to grow into living archives of imagination, curiosity and human connection.
Each cloud carries fragments of these conversations, weaving them into an ambient soundscape that asks simple but profound questions: What is the internet? What does it look like? What is AI? What might future technology become? What do clouds dream about? Through these conversations, Dreaming of You explores the relationship between technology, imagination and play.
As the project tours, new recordings and workshops continue to expand the installation. Every exhibition adds new voices, stories and dreams, allowing Dreaming of You to grow and evolve with its audiences.
We often think of the cloud as somewhere our photographs and data live. But clouds have always carried something else too: our imagination.
Dreaming of You brings these two meanings together, creating a space where audiences can slow down, look up and imagine together. The clouds become a metaphor for our time—bridging the natural and the digital, and reminding us that the future is shaped not only by technology, but by the stories, dreams and connections we share.
